Viewpath has always been unique. We were pioneers when we started out as one of the earliest providers of project management software. And now we're pioneering again by inviting our community to work closely with our product development team as we build the next release of Viewpath.
In particular, we're looking for your input in the ideation and prototyping phases of development.
We are gathering ideas and requirements right now, so if you would like to be involved, or if you know someone who would like to help shape the future of project management software, please encourage them to sign up by following the link below. You don't need to be a Viewpath customer to participate, and there is no obligation for you to become a customer in future - though we do hope that the new product will be irresistible :)
We're taking this process very seriously, and have assigned Justin Perun, a strategic lead at Viewpath, to personally liaise with contributors.
We will also be asking PMI attendees to share their wish lists with us, when we exhibit at the PMI Global Project Management Conference next month.
So, if you consider yourself an early adopter and have an innovative, community-minded spirit, we would love you to join us. We will be:
- Running short webinars
- Sharing polls and surveys
- Asking you to Beta test the new product
We're taking this approach because we want our product to reach its full potential. The approach is adapted from Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies, which both start by asking your customers what they want. We want to know how you are currently using project management software (it doesn't need to be ours), how you overcome software limitations, and which features are most valuable to you.
You can read more about the approach we are taking in this article.
